La Petite Chabrenas is a delightful little cottage ideally suited for a couple.
The cottage is entered through a stable type front door into an open plan area including Lounge, Dining Area and Kitchen with open tread stairs leading to the first floor.
Lounge Area
This area has an exposed beam ceiling and centres round the original fireplace with its beautiful beams and a wood burning stove. It has a comfortable two-seater Sofa and armchair, TV with provision for French and English television, DVD player, Radio/CD player.
Kitchen / Dining Area
The corner kitchen comprises single oven gas cooker with extractor fan above, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Cookware is found on a shelf and rail above the ample work surface and cupboards house kitchen equipment and tableware.
In the Dining Area there is a round pine table and four chairs and the stairs lead off this area to the first floor.
Bedroom / Bathroom accommodation
The staircase leads to the attractive bedroom with king size bed, beautiful exposed roof beams and a dormer window.
The bathroom is found on the left-hand side at the top of the stairs, also with exposed roof beams and comprises Shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
Heating and hot water
The cottage has a wood burning stove and is also heated by electric radiators in all areas of the cottage. Hot water is provided via an electrically heated hot water tank. Up to 8kwh per day of electricity is included in the rental price.
Garden
La Petite Chabrenas has its own secluded garden with grass and shrubs and is partially shaded by trees and is accessed by stone steps from just by the front door.
Garden furniture includes a table with four chairs on a small patio, sun umbrella, two sun loungers and a Weber charcoal barbeque. There is also a rotary Washing Line.
Laundry Facilities
Iron and ironing board are to be found in the upstairs bathroom cupboard.
Washing Machine is available within nearby Bread Oven building, unfortunately we do not supply washing powder!
Car Parking
There is a parking space available at the rear of the cottage.
Smoking
We have a ‘no smoking’ policy in any of the buildings.
Pets
Pets are very welcome – please ask us for information.
