This delightful cottage has exposed beams throughout.
Lounge
The Lounge area centres around the original oak beamed fireplace with a wood-burning stove and has a three-seater settee and another chair. The television has provision for English and French television and there is a DVD player. A pine dresser houses more table ware, a CD player and some games.
Kitchen and Dining Area
The Kitchen has been equipped to a high standard, including all tableware and all the necessary kitchen equipment including an electric mixer, as well as a fridge freezer, cooker and microwave and a full-size dishwasher.
The Dining Area has a pine table with four chairs.
A High chair or Booster Seat are available if required.
Bathroom
Leading off this open plan living area is the main bathroom with shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
Stairs lead from the lounge area to a first floor landing.
Bedrooms
The cottage has two bedrooms.
The main bedroom with a king-size bed and the second bedroom with two single beds. We also have available a cot or travel cot if required and either of these bedrooms could accommodate this.
Second toilet facilities
There is also a separate toilet with wash basin upstairs.
Garden
The garden to the rear of the cottage is totally fenced and enclosed if you have a pet with you. It is planted with shrubs and overlooks countryside. It has several patio areas with tables and chairs, occasional chairs, sun loungers and a sun parasol.
Swimming Pool
This cottage also has the use of our 10m x 5m swimming pool which is found to the rear of our farmhouse. Situated in its own privately secluded part of the property surrounded by shrubs and our own woodland. Although this is shared with us – the owners – we never go near or around the swimming pool when guests are using this facility.
Laundry Facilities
An Iron and ironing board are to be found in the understairs cupboard
Washing Machine is available within nearby Bread Oven building. Unfortunately we do not washing powder!
Smoking
We have a ‘no smoking’ policy in any of the buildings
Pets are very welcome please ask us for information.
Items for children
We also have many toys for young children available, together with Cot, or travel cot, High Chair, Booster Seat, changing mat, fire guard and stair gates.
