Welcome
David and Jenny Porter welcome you to Chabrenas, where we have two cottages available for holiday bookings.
We would like to introduce you to La Petite Chabrenas and La Bergerie, both available for bookings on a weekly self-catering basis. La Petite Chabrenas has one bedroom with a king size bed, sleeping two people. La Bergerie has two bedrooms, one with king size bed and one with two single beds, sleeping four people.
Discover this wonderful unspoilt area of France from the comfort of these two delightful well equipped and tastefully decorated cottages. Situated in a small hamlet, Chabrenas provides a ‘home from home’ in France. Surrounded by woods and meadows and found ‘down the end of the lane’, it provides a tranquil base from which to explore. These pretty self-contained cottages with their own gardens allow you to experience the quiet and peaceful setting of Chabrenas. A perfect base for a holiday in France.
It is also our aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and we will try to accommodate any request you make of us.

Chabrenas is situated in the beautiful countryside of the Haute Vienne Department of Limousin. It is ideally situated close to the main A20 autoroute (10 mins) if you wish to travel quickly to the attactions of the area. However if you prefer, relaxing drives take you down country lanes, along lazy rivers to wend your way to visit local chateaux, picturesque market towns, lakes with swimming beaches or the ancient cities of Limoges and Brive, as well as the Vezere, Lot and Dordogne valleys.
Stop and sample food and wine in some of the prettiest villages in France, such as Segur-le-Chateau, Montemart, St Robert, Collonges-la-Rouge and Turenne – to name but a few – Wend a little further and visit the unique sights of Sarlat-la-Caneda, Rocamadour or Cirq Lapopie, a few of the picturesque villages that make up the Dordogne and Lot valleys.

If you prefer to enjoy the local area on foot, there are also lots of local footpaths, some which leave from Chabrenas, if walking is one of your favourite pastimes – especially if you have a pet with you. We also have the local walking maps available if you wish to borrow them.
